Well I was looking forward to going, and hopefully still am.

I've been a little layed up over the past few days and there's no signs of improving yet, so fingers crossed :(

we would go but its changed to a "secure carpark rally" that means the site wont let them have bikes on the grass,in fairness its seems a good idea,bikes secure.Except we ride show trikes&its very easy for folk to wander off with bits of a trike,my trike has lost3 gear leaver heads over4years,also you dont get to chat to the owners as much,less atmosphere than a normal camp with ya bike/trike do.If it was same site as last year would be a def,but alas i susspect its lun farm ripley,lost a few bits there already,n crap bar prices too!!! :( :cool:

I understand your predicament. Maybe you should take it up with the organisers ?

I was at a rally a few weeks ago, when again all the bikes and trikes were to be left in the car park. My party and I were allowed to take our trikes and my trailer down to the field to offload and then to take them back to the carpark once finished.

It so happened by the time we were done, more peeps had come and put there tents up blocking the exit, so our rides and my lovely coffin trailer was stuck on the field with us.

Now, here's something that pissed me off beyond belief!! Very late Saturday night some feckwit descided that it would be a good idea to use my trailer as a table and chair. He sat on it,, rolled god knows how many roll ups and covered the top with baccy and got mud all over it with his feet and in the process managed to yank out the conection lead.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but bikes are not messed with are they? So why is it, if you have a trike or a trailer (that obviously has been custom made and alot of money spent on it) , then why oh why do other bikers think its ok to use and abuse or even steal as they wish ???

Yep this has got feck all to do with this rally thats coming up, but toots & purple have a valid point and i agree.

Big HUGE THANKS to you Mark for welding me mudguards back on, lol. They was wobbling all over the place cos of the silly ickle brackets, but Mark came and saved the day, didn't ya chuck :D

Great Rally, great weather and even better company!!! Oh and the car parking - well we all parked our bikes and trikes on the field next to our tents so thumbs up. Shame there was no portaloo's on the field though !
