Issue 39 carried a feature on a 600 Bandit based, low rider. The owner is/was Phil Mansi. As soon as I saw this bike I knew I wanted something pretty close to it, but a soft tail (possibly)! If anyone knows Phil or Phil himself, could you please contact me as I would like to get some more info. Failing that does anyone know if I could get a frame made for a 1997 600 BAndit similar to Phil's. I have the donor bike and intend using as many of the original parts, (with the exception of possibly the yolks) as I can to keep the initial costs down.Then who knows!
