Hi, Anybody going to the Speedfreaks this week-end. I will be there on the Sunday, as it is local to me. If any peeps going, I will look out for some familiar faces. If not, enjoy yourselves wherever you are.

Well pleased, not bad for a 20 year old 588cc Norton running a bog standard engine and carbs (and the ejector exhaust system NOT connected) eh? :D

Didn't meet any of you guys, but I met up with Kirsten, former 100% employee. It was nice to meet up again and she seems to be doing fine.

No, not yet, i understand he's junking the 'silencer' box under the engine. I will be doing demo races against him in 3 weeks at a Mazda RX8 event at Avon Park Shakespeare raceway near Stratford, well.. not so much racing him as chasing him.

Maybe by sight - do recognise the name though.
I know Rimmer , Big Mik and Ducky. I used to be the Tigershark and Kawasaki dealer for North Wales. Still keep my hand in a bit , just rebuilt Ducky's race ski hull at the beginning of this year after he ran up on rocks and ripped it in half.

12.96 quarter, slow by todays standards but hey, ive just been looking at a book on old 'superbikes', turns out my old 588cc Norton would have beat none other than the legendary Laverda Jota 1000 (which was in production at the same time) and which would have 'only' managed a 13.05.
