Springers ride and handle great mate, if they are set-up properly. Had em on a couple of bikes now, and although I wouldnt fit em on a race bike... on a chop they handle just fine, and actually can ride better than teles.
Here endeth the lesson for today!! :D

if there properly setup and maintained then at legal speed limits you will be fine. On some roads u may get a pogoing effect at certain speeds
if ya one of these that like to ride like barry sheene - then your gonna become a cropper.
as for brakes for springers - twin leading drums are the best option - if your thinking of using discks then make sure shes under braked....
also if your one of those riders who use there front brake heavily then your in for a shock.
but having said that if ya ride to road and weather conditions you should be able to have miles of fun...
I like springers they look nice on any custom - but im a die hard girder fan...
as for value for money even at buy it now excellent value for th ebeer tokens wanted - even with worn chrome i would expect these to top 300 plus mark. (altho it is getting a bit late in the year now................

Springers came as standard on my bike from new. Rides like a dream, especially with the sprung saddle. Mind, I have a job getting up to most speed limits, let alone breaking them. :D
