Me alternator is fecked, so riding to work on the battery without lights, as a consequence taking it a bit easier than normal, sticking to a max of 40 (30 mph limit for 95% of my journey) discovered only 2 minutes difference (on average) in my journey time.
Just shows that speed aint everything.
