rebel CMX 450 brake caliper has been like rocking horse wotsit to find. Being a bear of limited funds it had to be a cheapo one. Evilbay US sorted me one delivered for £40 just waiting for it to arrive.

Once it's fitted.. wih Pyro's help, wrist is still a bit fucked . indicators on and MOT. should be ready for the Ogri. the bike has been standing pretty much for 2 years now so I reckon the London - gloucs run should blow the cobwebs :D

When I move and get the garage the chopping shall begin. after the spank wifey changed her mind about having a bike .. lucky me. If she changes her mind again, she's getting a hardtail whether she like it or not.

Dont forget, run the engine every few days for about 20 mins to condition the battery!

Not a great fan of that theory meself.
Too much choke too often, and if it aint getting taken out for a run to blow the cobwebs off better than ticking over would, the plugs'll soot and clog.
The battery needs attention as you say, but it wont half pop and fart once you done that for a few weeks.
Prefer to charge the battery periodically meself.
Or use an optimiser if i had one.

totally agree with taff on that
just running a bike causes moisture etc to attack
the bike needs to move
keeping battery on charger is better
