So, given that I am picking up the Harley in 2 weeks PLUS am looking for a chop to go with it - anyone know of an Insurance Company that will allow more than one bike on a policy, one or more of which is modified?

I used to have such a policy with NIG, but let it lapse as I didn't have a bike of my own when it was up for renewal - and when I called them (@ the call centre in India  ) today they said I would have to take out a policy for each bike.

Equity Red Star through Carole Nash. I have trike, buell, and modded sportster all on the same policy.

www.ebikeinsurance

I've got the GSX11 and the GSXR11 (now more heavily modded) insured with all mods declared for under £300/year.

Footman James are competitive again for some folk as are Carol Nash. Apparently. Ebikes just easy. No paperwork, instant cover and manage your policy yourself online.

Jester insured the CBR and subsequently the GS and the GSXR750 each for an extra £60 on the policy. You can add extra riders, extra bikes and pick and choose re excess, breakdown cover etc etc all online at any hour of the day or night.

www.ebikeinsuranceWow! 25 quid off the last lot, just for the Harley... and a big 6 quid more than their quote if I add in the GSXR as an 'as if' possibility with full declaration of mods.

Cheers! :D

Footman James wouldn't even consider me,they said the GS was much too modified, yet it's hardly radical.....

That's interesting. I know a few people with modified bikes who use them. Maybe it's the modified classic they struggled with?

I use Equity Red Star for 4 of my bikes and it only costs an extra £25 per extra bike alongside the primary bike, as long as the primary bike is the highest insurance group.
