I bought a brand new weiss jacket in a charity shop for £15 and I have to say it's the nuts... very happy with it.

I've got one; totally waterproof (can instruct in it all day in the pissing rain without getting wet) and very warm with the thermal liner in. Well worth the money

the reason for the post is because ive got one i got it at stafford bike show about 98 though didnt wear it for about 4yrs after that cos i thought it looked too bright and poofy ? i was used to wearing leathers and wax cotton jackets at the time but i had some spare cash at the time and i liked the style kinda bomber style getting back on track mines leaks quite bad down the arms and neck and bits on the body its as if the wind drives the water through it also do you reproof it ?and what with ? cheers D

Mines black so I don't have a poofy colour issue ;)

Any Silicon based spray should do it or a spray dubbing, scotchguard type stuff also works. Get into a local heine gericke or aparrel shop they should tell you. Failing that get into a hunting/fieldcraft shop and ask them what the've got. ....seams should not be leaking though.
