BENEFIT ROCK NITE in memory of ROBYN BROOKS with SPECIAL GUESTS!
Robyn Brooks was an amazing 8 year old girl from Rochdale,who was fighting for her life against Neuroblastoma,a rare and cruel form of cancer,that predominately attacks children under 10.Sadly,Robyn lost her battle against the disease,and passed away on 17th March 2004,after fighting the disease for 5 years.This benefit night has been arranged for some time now,and it has been agreed that the event will still go ahead,in memory of,and as a tribute to Robyn,and also to help raise funds to continue the fight against Neuroblastoma,in Robyns memory.
Venue - Heywood Civic Centre,Wood Street,Heywood,Lancashire.(Just north of Manchester,inbetween Rochdale and Bury)
Date and Times - Friday 30th April 2004
7-00pm till 1-30 am,(bar open till 1-00am)

SPACERITUAL+ Striking Lighting+ Dancers
THE ROADRUNNERS,(complete rock cover band)
STEViE,(one bloke,one mandolin)
BIG LIX,(excellent classic rock cover band,Purple,Floyd,etc)
+Rock DJ inbetween bands/acts
SPACERITUAL,feature original and 70's Hawkwind members,Nik Turner,Dave Anderson ,Terry Ollis,Thomas Crimble,Mick Slattery along with John The Ghost and Sam (son of caveman),they perform amongst others,some of the original Hawkwind classics,rekindling the early spirit of Hawkwind,with full light show and dancers.NOT TO BE MISSED!
