hi blackjack ive been on evilbay for hours now and gettin really stressed as i really dont know what i really need,im looking for a set of upside down forks for a gs650 trike project and cant find any long enough which brought me to this idea would you ever consider doing a article on hybriding upside down forks and convential ones, to say make them longer in 100% biker as i, and probably some other folk know very little about the internals of forks and i for one would be gratefull thanks dude :) :)

Look, I'm still trying to find the time (not to mention the forks...) to see what the difference between "cartridge" type ones and "non-cartridge" type ones is.......

If you want gurt long ones, bear in mind that 8" of travel on a trike with 5" of ground clearance isn't that good an idea. :eek:

So trail bike/MX ones will need the travel limiting. At the least.

if yer building a trike, get a set of leading links made, not as pretty as a set of fat telescopic forks, but then the telescopics wont work properly on a trike, where leading links will!!!

Though, that said, if you want to know about making "conventional" forks longer, I think that should be in the next issue......
