Starter Solonoid's dont have wires for the "rectum fryer" as you put it, only wires are HT cable from batter to solonoid (normaly also has a feed to fusebox-red wire)), solonoid to starter and depending on bike 1 or 2 wires to starter switch.
XS should have 2 a red/white and a blue/white, the blue/white acts as an earth.
so basicly you can fit any starter solonoid to any bike even one of some cars (not the pre-engaged type).
if the solonoid only has a red/white or single wire then you need to feed the blue/white coming from switch to an earth point. only other thing to be sure of with single wire Solonoids is that the solonoid body is also earthed, useually via the mounting bolt.
