I have just recieved this email, it looks like a nice place to promote trikes.
Hello Glyn,
I am writing to you as Festival Organiser / Secretary for next years Welsh Heartlands AutoFest ( formally Welsh Heartlands Transport Festival ) which will take place once again at the Blackwood Civic Centre & Park in the centre of Blackwood near Caerphilly on the 18th-19th April 2008.
This event will again support and raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance charity.
We did have one trike turn up at this years festival........on the car park ! I could not help notice that this attracted possibly more attention than many of the official exhibits and decided that we should have a display of trikes in 2008.
So the basic question is....could you help me make that happen through your own contacts and possibly enter a trikes yourself in April ?
The festival always looks for the unusual and in 2008 we will seek to beat the record for the largest display of vintage invalid carriages, we will once again hold gatherings of Czech Made motor vehicles, classic hearses, and even Sinclair C5's and stationar gas engines as well as all the usual large display of vintage and classic motor cars, motorcycles, buses, lorries , ambulances, tractors and vintage machinery etc.
There is also a live music programme for general tastes, and celtic wrestling on both days as well as an evening programme.
