whats the best tubing other than stainless for making exhaust pipes,more or less made me mock up ones usin the preverbial bog roll an kitchen roll tubes[were would we be without blue peter],just need a few more then its the real stuff,so need advice on the tubin,cheers

All depends upon how much you are willing to spend, Chazz.You could try finding a manufacturer and raid their skip, are Peco still on the Wirral? It's a thought. :)

Bosal do bends and straight bits, and I think the last random bit of exhaust pipe we needed we bought from Partco. This is mild steel incidentally.....

The Partco stuff is plain, I think the Bosal stuff is aluminiumised, which means you have to hack the coating off to weld it.

Dunno if Partco do bends.

On a more useful note.Worth checking out rally places/4x4 specialists.Steel stockists will be cheapest place to buy tube.

i have a pair of vn800 pipes i have stripped of the bike,free to a good home,if anyone wants them, they have heat shields on them but are quite restrictive as the baffles need drilling out, but good and solid with 5000 miles only on them from new, aint posting the fuckers but if they are of use for a cut and shut or remodelling come get em for free..Heavy sods tho...any takers p.m me..i got vance and hines straight shots fitted just to make the nieghbours cry..
