Interesting that they can re-sleeve barrels ... might have use for their services soon. :)

Nik, FFS, surely there are places near you that can sleeve barrels...?

You've not blown Changeling up again have you? :D

I used to use a place in Brighouse, in between Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield called Serco or summat... when my X5 barrels went phut!

Why the swearing? I don't have any qualms about travelling to get a job done properly ... There's one place very nearby actually, but they haven't got a good reputation ...

Nope, but it's getting a little smoky these days - it's an old engine now - and I will be freshening it up prior to getting the turbo back on. It's got a big bore kit and, if it needs reboring, I'm not sure that I can get oversize pistons and rings for it so it may be just as easy to re-sleeve it. :)

not swearing cos of you travelling... :D there seems to be a lack of decent engineering places anywhere - though there's one by us in Newhaven though I don't know anyone who's had work done there.
