XV 750 carbs

Hi all,
We have a sick xv750 that the choke does not open on both carbs and the rear pot carb seems to flood
any ideas people

Sticky needles possibly?

Have the carbs BEEN running okay recently? If the bikes been stood a while you could just have drawn some crap from the tank / iffy petrol through. If you know what you're doing, may be worth a clean - if not, I would imagine you could pick up a reasonably priced replacment set on ebay. (good old ebay)

sounds like rear carb has a stuck open float valve, easily cured. like Minxy said a clean up sounds in order. If you get stuck I live just up the road

Sounds like its gummed with old petrol/crap to me. Clean up time!!
