painting help!

i just started painting my gs and small bits on the tank and panels wont take the paint.

On the panel its where i've sanded it back to the white fiberglass. Please people i need all the help u can give.

Oh i'm spraying it with outside garage door paint thinned with white spirit

Could be many reasons,what effect are you getting when you say it won't take paint?

Get some proper stuff used if you wanna do a proper job, primer wouldn't be a bad idea, nowt wrong with aerosol primer.
