I had pilot sports on my ZX6R and they wern't much good, except on the hottest days. they need a lot of warming up. marvelous for track days but normal road use, not so good.

cheers all. well unfortunatly i had won the tyre before i got any replies. but i might just save it as a spare. while im here i would like to mention about the bridgstone 010 f i have been using on the chop. ive used this make of tyre on my slingshot 1100 (stock) and my gsxr1100 chop. had same problem with tyre on both bikes. the tread had started to lift (bit like a cheese grater). still had plenty of tread left though. but i would say the last 3 mm of tread just dissapeared with in about 5 or 600 miles. i also came across one on ebay yesturday. it looked to have same problem.

I got the same thing on the bridgestone on the little bike.
The tread on the front looks like its lifting and its all cracking around the tread blocks. Its a BT45 Battlax tyre which I have been told are a good tyre, but I aint iimpressed.
