If , the carbs on the 600 are simular to that of the 900 then good luck , its a mine field setting them up , something to do with the height of the floats richening or weakening the air/fuel ,the slides wear real bad , and stick or slap about , unlike cylinder slide carbs . ive set other carbs up before but the gpz ones are hellish , ive ended up taking the gpz motor out of my trike and sticking a reliable suzi gsf one in instaed, lot of work but dont need to play with the carbs :D :D good luck chap

float height is 17mm.
This info from haynes manual GPZ600R 1985 to 1994.
Hope this helps.

i used to have gpz900 carbs on my chop, THEY ARE A CNUT TO GET RIGHT in the end i gave up and got a set of fj1100 carbs instead, the difference is amazing, easy to set up, and runs like a dream now.
in fact, if any1 wants a set of gpz900 carbs with extended rails to fit a gpz1100, 130 main jets, they can have em, as i aint going to be using them again !
