Which way up?

Which way up should i be fixing my reliant axl? Should it be the opposite way up to the robin-ie drain plug facing upwards? Bike trike Honda V45

It would be a bit of a shame to go backwards in six gears!

take off the drive from the bike and either turn it over without the plugs in or by hand and see which way the engine runs, then get the axle and rotate the propshaft mountingand see what way the wheels move.

if the bikes shaft drive is on the left the reliant axles needs to be upside down.
if it's on the right it won't :)
