Time to change insurance companies as prices are increasing, phoned Carole Nash to insure my 3.0l trike, told me they cant insure me as the trike has more than 3 seats  (registered at dvla as seating 7) any advice would be good!!

Weird.
There used to be one that Chris Ireland used that were s'posed to be very good, but I can't for the life o' me remember what they were called. Sorry.
Of course you have the nitrous disconnected on the road, don't we all? ;)

I used Carole Nash Insurance for nine years and took trike off the road for three months. When I went to reinsure they doubled my premium. They couldnt understand why I gave em the elbow. Am now with Bikesure. Paying same premium as I did in 1995!.I have full no claims so it wont get cheaper lol.
