work mates lad bought a rs125 aprilia a while back,said it was running before he got it,but aint been able to get it to run since,ive said i'll have a look at it but to be honest am not that interested,anyhow does the bike have a starter cut out on the side stand,as lookin at some bumf on them it says let stand up before starting,if this is so it'll be in an out the shed quicker

Don't know this model but it should be eay to spot the switch if there is one.
Only so much space on the side stand where it will make contact with a switch when up,just have a scan along it.
