mot questions?

i got a Suzuki ae50 off that site but the headlight wont go on till it starts will that fail on the mot? and does it need a side light for the mot? cause thats not working and the bulb is new and working

A lot of old bikes were like that... especially old suzukis (I've had GT125, GT200X5 and a GT550, all of them were like that IIRC).

As long as you have full beam and dipped, you'll be OK.

sidelight needs to be working to pass if fitted

and no yer can't just rip the bulb out an throw the fucker away as you can fail for having the hole for bulb an it not fitted :rolleyes:

oh and ripping the bulb out and filling the hole with tape is a no no aswell :p

you do need a rear side light, but a front is not needed. not sure about the "if fitted must work thing though"

and just another question when does a side light need to work? eg: when parked or just on while driving?
