Ok, so I decided to tighten the chain, as it was bit slack ............. never done it before on a SSSA

So I slackened off the clamp bolt on the hub, and then

Turn the big nut thing with the slots on the right hand side, aint got a C spanner, but got a big fuck off adjustable, that will work wont it???

Errr, all I do is turn the wheel, even with the back brake on and somehow I have managed to slacken the chain off to unrideable state, even tho I havent actually moved the nut.

Am I doing summat wrong????

it's a daft design. you slacken the pinch bolt then turn the hub which has some slots in it. you not trying to undo the axle nut are you. the adjuster is prone to siezing. but if it is loose then it will usually turn itself and slacken the chain.without using the very very large c-spanner in the tool kit it's a bugger to do as there is very little room.

Its sometimes easyer to take the wheel off, plus you can get on the cutouts better
