right had probs with me loom and consiquently had to fudge(rewire..lol) it .
for an mot i know i need a high beam indicator ,but do i need a neutral light?
also on me clocks i have a headlight indicator that dont work and as its a us import and the lights are on all the time ,does it need to work?

I think you need a neutral light. As for the headlight warning light, I should think that, as with everything, if it's there it must work.
Could be wrong though

pretty sure my headlight high beam indicator went south before last mot and neutral light virtually never works. Inportant one is you must either be able to see indicators or a repeater/ warning from seated position.

headlight indicator light if i remember rightly flashes if your headlight bulb blows.

Me ,I'm odd:)
Like minimal.
No neutral light/indicators.
Two tiny leds recessed into headlamp shell.blue-high beam,red-oh **** oil light,stop now.
No idea if you need a high beam indicator,I'd forget otherwise:rolleyes:
Scrap the clox and all wanky wiring .Pushbike speedo and off you go.

I thought the high beam indicator is when the oncoming traffic flash their lights at you...John

right then phoned three of my local mot bays today( niether are dealerships) and was told the same thing..neutral isnt needed...but no high beam indicator and it'll fail....,i know the mot regulation means its not needed but the testers are telling me otherwise,anyway got me high beam working just in case just a bit confused now,if there gonna be that picky what else they gonna fail it on...:confused::confused:
