Hi all, Ive recently been contacted by a young lass, who unfortunately has a had a slight mishap and been knocked off! Not too serious but it rattled her! She has decided to go the sidecar route and is looking for a single seat sidecar, she has a 535 virago so a small squire or a velorex will do her, my mate and me are going to fit it for her and give a little tutoring in the fine art of piloting an outfit! I think she may be quite a newcomer to the bike world in general as she doesnt appear to know too many bike orientated folk! She got my number via a bike mechanic mate of mine who she rang from yellow pages. She's been on to a sidecar dealer and the cheapest she can get is just short of a grand excluding fitting!! So has anyone out there got a small chair festering away! She will pay cash for the right one! me and my mate are fitting and tutoring for free cos we are dead nice, (and bored!!) and just in case anyone thinks that silly old bugger me has succumbed to fluttering eyelashes, Ive never seen her! I just dont like to see anyone struggling. She is based in Lancaster but we will be doing the work at my place near Preston so as near the north west as possible as she will have to pay for carriage. If you email me at gagacol@blueyonder.co.uk as she has no internet access and I will pass on her contact details for payment, many thanks, Colin.:)

Would a Watsoinian Palma be of interest? It's in mid Wales and I can not currently deliver but there are 2 in my possesion but not in use. One very scruffy, one not too bad. Also probably got most of the required right fittings, possibly even a braked wheel hub!:drool:trouble is best bet would be for the bike to come here as I'm not willing to send off the whole lot of fittings as it would leave me with sod all to set up the next outfit;) I've little knowledge of virago frames to figure out what fittings wold be needed see. Have you tried yahoo group; sidecars uk. as they can be very helpful (I'm one of them) and I'm fairly sure you'll find something closer. My mate also has a velorex chasis with fittings he might part with but that only has a homemade flatbed body for shopping. That near Ludlow and once agian it would need collecting:rolleyes:
