any unfinished chop projects about?

a mate of mine wants to build a chop, I havent got the time or space to do one for him, so suggested we look for an unfinished project that I can help him with, that way he learns how to do things and we get it on the road asap

so he wants something running preferably, hardtail would be better, long low is preffered stance, or short with apes

paint etc etc isnt important as hes a painter,

hes got about £1000 to spend on the project, and then some more for me to do bits, but if the bike is more complete or better then obviuosly less for me to do on it, and he can spend a bit more

anyone got anything laid in the garage or shed they dont want

not his request but mine, would prefer a proper frame, not some home bodged piece of crap

Borg, not exactly what hes after, but the annoying thing is that I can sort of envisage my finishing touches on that LOL

whats the state of play with it, do you know of the motor runs?, is it the TR1 lump?

what obvios bits need doing?

It was running last summer, carbs need fetling, spoke to Elga the VX wizard for advice on them. little bits need doing, goodridges finishing, read guard and seat sorting etc.

Yer TR1 it is. V5 as well all there.

Needs finishing and panting black thats all really.
