The trike was specially designed and built by Psycho-Cycles of Shobdon, Herefordshire for a round the coast charity trip to raise money for M.S. from which I suffer.
Sadly the trip has had to be put on hold because of my health and I expect I shall have to resort to using a car instead if I am to continue with the planned adventure. (To say I am pissed off is an under statement but one has to be practical!)

This trike was designed to tow a BedBug Teardrop, which I would have been living in during the trip. This is shown in the photos, but is not included.
The trike has been kept as simple as possible with no unwanted bits to get in the way.
Details
* All the running gear is bog standard Reliant Rialto. It came from a 1986 car with 33,000 on the clock. It has been kept absolutely bog standard so that it is easy to maintain and repair with all spares readily available from any part of the country should they be required. Other than using the car running gear it had to look just like a bike derived trike! I did not want it to look like a reliant with the body removed!
* The frame was designed and built with stiff rear suspension with towing in mind keeping the running gear and engine as near to the set up as you would find in a reliant 3 wheeler so any back street mechanic would be able to work on it.
* The front end is off a Harley Davidson with a 3.5 gallon tank. It returns 55+ mpg when towing.
* It has very solid steel mudguards. (You can sit on the rear ones!)
* Solid billet alloy foot controls.
* Wolfrace wheel rims with good rubber all round.
* Leather tool roll on front forks and leather saddle bags on the back for on bike storage.
* Towbar and electrics fitted.
It is taxed and MOT'd till the end of June 2008. (I'm having it MOT'd this Thursday (26th June)
It will be sold with 12 months tax and 12 months.
Overall it handles really well and is beautiful to ride. The riding position is very relaxed which makes it much easier to control! It has cost me well over £4,000 to have made, but as I've already mentioned, it's no use to me if it causes me discomfort!
I have it listen on eBay, please have a look if you require more photos!
Any questions, please email me - mark@thebedbug.co.uk or give me a call on 07968 334 003.
Regards,
Mark
