virago 535 indicator problems

Front left hand indicator has gone out.
Rear left hand one works intermittently.
Right hand side ones are also playing up.
The indicator idiot light flashes at different speeds as well.

Is this the flasher relay and if so where is it and what does it look like ?

Any advice greatly appreciated !

first Check all bulbs are the same wattage and all ok . make sure water has not got into the sockets and corroded them..John

If that fails, connect a pice of wire to the - side of battery and run it to the earth of the bulb. Most dicky electrics seem to be a dodgy earth....

Thanks fellas, the front left hand indicator had collapsed inside and wasn't earthing. All done and dusted now. Much appreciated
