View Full Version : Rear brake
Hi one and all i've just taken out the trike for its maiden voyage at the end of the dry build and its suffering from a well spongy back brake. I have bled it till i'm blue in the face any ideas on how i can get any air out thats left in there cheers MAX

Fit bleed nipples into the 'banjo' bolts ?
I am assuming that the brake pipes are all in good nick, yes ?

I use a little 'squirty' oil can (only ever used for brake fluid), and a bit of tubing from the spout to the bleed nipple, open the nipple and squirt the fluid through 'backwards' - this pushes all the trapped air back uo to the reservoir you can see it bubbling up there.
regards
Mick
Thanks lads the brake pipes are brand new will try your ideas cheers MAX

Sounds like the master cylinder isn't big enough. What cylinder and rear axle are you using..?
I've got the problem sorted now thanks lads :)
