Need a NEW open face crash hat for my good lady (Cheap). Do we know of any good web sites to try. Also not clear on how to measure to get the right size ?. Is it normaly round the head in cm ?.ANY help greatly recived thanks SHAUN. :cool:

Try http://www.silvermans.co.uk and type in helmets. They do quite a few open face helmets, I bought a Top Tek matt black one off them earlier this year for about £45.00 and used it on the trike just for motorway use. It was a good buy. They'll tell you how to measure. I just guessed the size taking into account my overly large brain (big head) and it was spot on.

hi there high tower, you would be best just going into a shop to make sure you get the size right, you can pick a new open face up for about £30 at dk bikes in stoke, seems to be the average price.

Thanks for that "ROYSTER" But I live way out in the north linc "BOON DOCKS". my nearest scooter dealer is in grimsby thats 40 miles away . thats why the web site thing . so thanks dave will give it a look , its for my lady and she hates skid lids at the best of times so i will let her pick. Yes its for motorway work on the trike. more to keep the rain off . :cool:

Hey high tower.
I got a roof roadster helmet on the go if your interested, it the open faced 1 with visor that comes down. It matt black few scratches, not major 1s on shell. i did have a crash with it but it hit the ground on the visor only, it not in eye view but you can buy new visors for this helmet.
Only prob might be is it 58-62 not normally size for the ladies.

Thanks for that PAT will give him a call,Jackie ( The whife). Has decided that now I have a trike with two seats on she wants to come out to play as well.This is going to cost me lots of dosh ,so am starting with a skid lid . The next thing is a leather jacket , this is going to cost big time . But she is a loverly lady and worth every penny , god this sounds soft. no good for my image as a big tuff hairy biker !!!. tHANKS AGAIN SHAUN. :cool:
