Hi from a Suzy Intruder rider

Hi
My name's Mal and I've just got a bike after an absence of 20+ years.
Chose the Suzy Intruder M800 for its beautiful looks, laid back riding position, and more than enough oomph for a "novice".

At the moment it's totally unadulterated.... and I wouldn't want to ride round on something looking like a fairground ride, but for practical reasons am looking at forward controls (as i'm very tall) and maybe a screen, as i find it very blustery at anything over 50.

Any Intruder riders out there got experience of either?

PS... bike is an 05 plate, but when I bought in last November it had only done 400 miles!!! Next job... full service... sounds pricey :eek:

Yep, I have the "John's kit" forward controls, I tried it for about 5 miles and then had to take them off. I have a f'cked knee that doesn't like sitting at that angle, shame really the other leg loved it.

'S yours for £40.00 (plus postage) if you want it.

I am now looking for a new engine for mine, blew it up in Alicante. Bit disturbing really, engine ran out of oil, no warning lights or anything!
