Hi.

I am nearly ready to put the front end on off the thundercat onto my xs.

What I need to know is!!!!. If I'm very carefull, would it be safe to drill two holes through the top yolk to accomodate rizers?

I would be drilling between the cast webs of course

Them there thundrycats have clipon things and they arnt good for my chop?

Yes it should be safe as long as you make two extra peices of ally to fit under the webbing with holes for risers to go throu as well, as the top yoke by its self is too thin. Im next door has done it himself on many a bike.

Take it you weld the aforementioned pices of ally to the underside?

Sometimes you find they have an undrilled boss. This is the ideal situation.

If you can weld ally, then drill two BIG holes and weld two sleeves in.

If you can't then you should really use a lump of ally on the top face too.

AND IT'S YOKES!!!!!!!!!!

Yolks are the yellow thing you find inside an egg.
