View Full Version : FibreGlass
I am looking for someone in the Birmingham area that can take a mould of my current rear mudguards and make me a pair out of fibreglass (due the the paint keep cracking on my existing ones due to the flex of the steel
anyone know of anywhere and any ideas of costs involved?

paint will crack on fibreglass
always better to use a 2k paint as it flexes better.
send me the overall size (plus a pic if poss)
and i can give you cost of a mould
if i like the size/shape of them then i'll do you a mould very very cheap
if you would be happy for me to take a mould off them for my own use..

they need to be spefic shape that there already (universal one wont work)
i have attached a piccy (it is essentially a twin wheel horse trail mudguard cut in half with a wider piece welded on)
how much mate (and where are you) and how long would they take?

you can add plasticiser to the paint on flexy things, thats how they do plastic car bumpers and stop the paint cracking and stuff...
