documents for trike

can some one help me i am interesed in buying a trike and i am not right sure what documents to ask for and what they should give me when i buy a trike any help would be great

Ask for V5 registration document(should state Tricycle) , Mot certificate(if it's got one)
Is just like buying a bike/car.
