hey its me again mustbemad i am looking for a place that does re chroming ,my forks are quite badly pitted and i would like to get them re chromed ,some where near to tamworth staffs aeria please if anyone knows of anywhere please.mustbemad :D

Presumably you mean a set of telescopic forks? If its rusty stanchions then what you need is hard chroming and grinding to size. Company called A.M Philpott do this and they advertise in BSH quite regularly. Costs about £150, they send a courier round to pick them up and they reappear about a week later. Bit of a specialised job that.

If on the other hand what you want is cosmetic chrome, I bet you can't find anything under chrome platers in the Yellow Pages?

Try looking under electro platers instead.

Well if I ever got to see a copy then I'd have known that.

I'd suggest publicly hanging whoever deals with your distribution.

Won't fix anything, but it should raise the profile quite a bit................
