Is anybody going to the V,J,M,C(Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club) show at Lotherton Hall, near Castleford in West Yorkshire on Sunday(25th July) ?. I'm going for a bit of a giggle, just to see all the purists faces when they come upon my pink Z1300!..lol. I reckon they'll be looking for a tree to lynch me from, for being a heretic!. LMAO!!!.

i'm goin tempted to stick me fx in the show scare them with the full fuglyness of jap import it is cos its soooo not like the other bikes :) will look out for pink z tho from previous years most bikes shown are the purists that spend more time polishin there bikes than ridin them and hovering about them just incase gawd forbid some1 looks at there bike then SNAP trapped in the worlds dullest conversation

Well. Started out in the car cos of the rain, then thought 'f*#k it, it's a bike show, so we turned round & went back for the bike. When we got there we met up with a couple of the lads from the UK Z1300 owners club. One's a good mate of mine, JJ, and we met Pete' for the first time who's from Northumberland, and he'd ridden all the way down in the rain!. Top bloke!. You could do with doing a feature on his bike Pat. A really well, chopped purple Z13 It's an absolute peach!!!!. I still can't believe that there were only TWO 13's at the show!. I reckon it should've taken first place in the specials section, but seeing as he had to leave early that went to a Spondon(yawn). In the end I decided to bring my little bus round into the show ring. And. I have to modestly say, it drew the biggest crowds that I saw in the time we were there(probably thinking "What the bloody hell has he done to this bike, he's painted it PINK, of all colours, surely that's not standard!). We stayed for the prizegiving, which was done by the rather tall Dr Rod (Gibson). I can't beieve that he had to climb a bloody stepladder to photograph the prizewinners though...lol.
