sorry dudes and dudesses, the hitler at leeds council who deals with health and safety has sent the wrong paper work, and there is now way we can sort it out for next week end:(......so i'm going to have to miss this one, but im putting the paperwork forward for next year, so if you have one next year, consider me there :(

we have another mobile tattooist who advertises with us who does loads of rallies, he does not have the probs you have, his mobile studio is health registered as just that, mobile, its been checked out by his local council and he can go anywhere he likes????

interesting....he obviously hasnt been to east cambs yet.

£40 to register with the council....and thats for a fixed location...i.e the little port leisure centre, and they wont allow it mobile in east cambs, and £40 for each person working the event

not knowing your other mobile tattooist, i dont know how hard he trys to be legal at an event, but i know buy the end of next year i will have certificates and permission to work more or less anywhere in this country...including scotland

and no disrespect to steve, but saying that they are remote and it would be unlikly for the council to find out that there is unlicenced tattooing going on it their area, I wouldnt want to tarnish my unblemished reputationif the council did find out:)

From what I can gather talking to our other tatooist, its his premises (his mobile unit) that is licensed and as long as he keeps that up regular H&S checks etc he can go anywhere, as the unit is licensed as a mobile.
Only going on what he's told me, he is very hot on H&S regs as he used to be a H&S officer for a living a few years ago.
Just thought it may help you .
